Volunteers represent community organizations’ most valuable asset, such as MyCommunity Services (MCS). Individuals’ willingness to collaborate for the betterment of their community and themselves is an invaluable resource. Volunteers form the organization’s cornerstone; their active participation not only contributes additional input but also enhances the commitment of other staff members toward achieving the organization’s goals.

After each year, MCS celebrates our volunteer’s successes. Our staff and clients make a concerted effort to express their gratitude for this exceptional group. The volunteers’ presence significantly enhances the quality of our programs, contributes to the progress and confidence of our clients, and uplifts the entire community by providing invaluable support to MCS. Indeed, many volunteers have developed skills and established themselves to the extent that they have become reliable supply staff for MCS.

Our volunteers are a vital component of our organizational structure, and their efforts provide us with a significant advantage. Without their assistance, the burden on our staff would increase, necessitating additional hours to guide and support clients. Beyond their direct contributions to clients’ progress, volunteers also positively impact staff morale and invigorate the atmosphere within the LINC classes.
